Bad news for WWE, as the June 28 episode of Monday Night Raw last night took a pretty big hit in the viewership.
According to John Ourand of the Sports Business Journal, last night’s episode of Monday Night Raw drew 1.57 million viewers, which is down from the 1.719 million figure the week prior.

The drop off in viewers compared to last week was to be somewhat expected, as WWE booked a Hell in a Cell match for last week’s show which would have incentivised some people to watch the broadcast.
Last night’s show featured a cracking main event between Riddle, Drew McIntyre, AJ Styles, with McIntyre progressing to earn a slot in the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match next month.
The show last night didn’t feature WWE Champion Bobby Lashley or Randy Orton, who are two of the biggest stars on the red brand, again perhaps suggesting why viewership was so low for last night’s show.
