WWE has reportedly re-hired a producer that the company let go in April as part of its cost-cutting measures during the coronavirus pandemic.
Pat Buck was among the names that left on April 15, but as reported by PWInsider, he was back this week working on both Raw and SmackDown.
Prior to his re-hiring, he had been in talks with at least one other promotion, but that is of course now not going to happen as he’s back with WWE.
There’s no word yet on whether any of the other producers that were let go have been brought back in.
Reports suggest that most of the producers were furloughed instead of being fully released, so it’s likely most of them will be back in the fold at some point.
It hasn’t been confirmed yet but it was looking likely that Kurt Angle would be re-signed following his recent appearances on NXT and SmackDown.
