On Sunday night at Impact’s Slammiversary XVII show, a masked man rushed the ring and delivered a spear to Michael Elgin after he was unsuccessful in his Impact World Championship match with Brian Cage.
It has since been revealed that the mystery man was none other than a returning Rhyno. This is interesting because PWInsider noted that while Rhyno is set to leave WWE this summer, his current deal with the company doesn’t expire until July 17th.

Despite having reason to feel aggrieved by this, Ryan Satin is reporting that according to his sources Vince McMahon is unlikely to make a big deal out of Rhyno appearing behind the mask at the show.
Satin also confirms PWInsider’s claims that Rhyno’s WWE deal is not actually up until next Wednesday.
Spoke to a source in WWE who confirmed Rhyno's WWE contract expires on July 17, but they said the company is unlikely to make an issue out of his masked appearance at Slammiversary over the weekend.

It has been reported that Rhyno actually rejected a “double money offer” to stay with WWE after informing them that he had no intention of re-signing his contract.
