Former WWE Star Believes He Could Be At Tokyo Dome Following NJPW All Star Junior Festival USA WWE/NJPW

A former WWE star believes he could be at the Tokyo Dome following NJPW All Star Junior Festival USA.

On Saturday, August 19, New Japan Pro Wrestling will host their All Star Junior Festival USA from Philadelphia’s 2300 Arena. This will mark the sequel to the first iteration from this past March.

Various stars from NJPW, AEW, IMPACT Wrestling and across the independent scene will compete on the special event.

One such star is former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore, now known as Real1. He will team up with Starboy Charlie and Jack Cartwheel to face Ryusuke Taguchi, Rich Swann and The DKC.

Appearing on Busted Open Radio, Real1 thanked Rocky Romero for the opportunity before confidently he will one day wrestle at the Tokyo Dome. He stated:

“So I just want to thank Rocky Romero, thank Hiromu Takahashi, thank you for putting this event on respecting and knowing that I’m the greatest Cruiserweight Champion that’s including every Luchador,”

“If I get an opportunity from Rocky Romero to go out there and do what I do, I guarantee you I end up over in Japan in the Tokyo Dome in front of a hundred-fucking-thousand people and taking everything that I deserve that should be fucking mine.”

Also announced for this Saturday’s show, IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Hiromu Takahashi will team with IMPACT’s Speedball Mike Bailey to face IMPACT X-Division Champion Lio Rush and Trey Miguel.

Following the All Star Junior Festival, NJPW and IMPACT Wrestling will co-promote their second official crossover show, Multiverse United 2: For Whom The Bell Tolls on Sunday, August 20.

Multiverse United 2 will be headlined by Alex Shelley defending the IMPACT World Championship against NJPW’s Hiroshi Tanahashi.
