Former Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey has commented on the possibility of her returning to WWE after recently criticising the company.
Ronda Rousey finished up with WWE at SummerSlam 2023, losing to Shayna Baszler in an MMA Rules match.
With Rousey blasting WWE in a previous interview, her future in pro-wrestling seems unclear.
Speaking on Good Morning America, Rousey noted that she doesn’t think she’ll be returning to WWE unless there’s a drastic change backstage.
When asked about a potential WWE comeback, Rousey said:
“Not unless things drastically change with how things are run there, and so I highly doubt it.”
Noting that she found the WWE lifestyle unsustainable after becoming a mother, she said:
“Well, it’s just not a lifestyle that I can continue while being a mom. I was on the road 18 months with my baby and it was just nothing that we could sustain forever.”
Rousey last wrestled at a November 2023 ROH taping, teaming with Marina Shafir to defeat Billie Starkz and Athena.
Becky Lynch has shared her honest thoughts on Ronda Rousey’s WWE career, noting that she feels the UFC star was ‘mishandled’ following her in-ring debut.
