Andrade (fka Andrade El Idolo, Andrade Almas) has commented on his WWE return at Royal Rumble 2024, following his recent exit from AEW.
The popular star made his WWE comeback during the 30-man Royal Rumble match, entering the bout in the #4 spot.
This marked Andrade’s first WWE in-ring appearance since October 2020, ahead of him requesting his release in March 2021.
During a WWE Digital Exclusive interview, Andrade addressed his return, and his previous exit.
Noting that he now knows who he is, Andrade said:
“How did it feel? Happy. I’m happy to be here, to be back. I needed to leave to remember who I was, so now I am back and I know who I am.
“Remember now, nobody is stopping me.”

Byron Saxton, who was interviewing Andrade, noted that it’s currently unclear whether Andrade will join the Raw or SmackDown roster, but indicated that Andrade will be sticking around.
Andrade wrestled for AEW during his time away from WWE, with the Mexican star losing his final AEW match to Miro at the December 30, 2023 Worlds End pay-per-view.
Another star who returned to WWE on Saturday was Naomi, who competed in the women’s Rumble.
Naomi has now shared an emotional reaction following her appearance, which you can read more about right here.
