The details for the producers of WWE SmackDown on March 17 have been revealed, including who produced Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens.
In the segment, which saw Cody Rhodes bring together Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens in the hopes of uniting the two against The Bloodline would be the start of quite an episode of SmackDown for Zayn, highlights of which can be seen below this story.
Thanks to Fightful Select (subscription required), we now know that the segment was produced by WWE Hall of Famer and Vice President of Creative Writing & Booking Michael Hayes produced the segment.
His involvement with the heart of the show wouldn’t stop there, with Hayes also producing the Sami Zayn & Jey Uso segment as well as the Rey Mysterio & Dominik promo.
It was also revealed that, in the closing moment of the show, Rhodes had his tights on as he would have a dark match to wrestle, facing Austin Theory.
That match would be produced by Jason Jordan, who also produced LA Knights vs Xavier Woods and Sheamus vs Drew McIntyre.
Elsewhere on the show, Santos Escobar & Zelina Vega vs. Dominik Mysterio & Rhea Ripley was produced by Kenny Dykstra who also produced the dark match between Braun Strowman & Ricochet vs. Hit Row.
Petey Williams produced Raquel Rodriguez & Liv Morgan vs. Tegan Nox & Emma and the Charlotte/Rhea Ripley promo.
