WWE Star ‘Has A Lot Of Support Behind The Scenes’

An intriguing update has emerged on WWE plans for a rising star ahead of Friday’s (June 16) edition of SmackDown.

A number of NXT stars were called up to the main roster during the 2023 WWE Draft.

One star who is now part of the SmackDown roster is Grayson Waller, who the likes of The Miz and Shawn Michaels have praised as a future WWE main eventer.

While Waller has yet to wrestle following the draft, a new report has indicated that WWE has a lot of faith in the Aussie.

Per WRKD Wrestling, Waller has a lot of support within WWE, and will get an opportunity to shine on SmackDown.

Sharing some notes ahead of this week’s show, WRKD Wrestling tweeted:

Waller, having a lot of support behind the scenes, gets more time to shine

Waller hasn’t wrestled since unsuccessfully challenging for Carmelo Hayes’ NXT Championship at April’s NXT Spring Breakin’ special.

While Waller has yet to make his SmackDown in-ring debut, He hosted an edition of his Grayson Waller Effect in-ring talk-show on the June 2 episode of SmackDown.

Raw star Zoey Stark, who has aligned herself with Trish Stratus and qualified for the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match, recently stated that she often goes to Waller for advice about promos.
