WWE Star Addresses Recent Character Change WWE

A WWE star has addressed their recent character change on this week’s edition of NXT TV (March 12).

After months of playing sidekick to Jacy Jayne, Thea Hail made a defiant return to her former-self on NXT this week.

In recent weeks Hail had found herself being replaced by fellow Chase U member Jazmyn Nyx, who was clearly angling to be Jayne’s new partner.

The situation reached a boiling point on NXT, when Hail found herself needing a tag team partner for her match against Kiana James and Izzi Dame.

Keeping in line with their recent treatment of Hail, both Jayne and Nyx refused, while prospective partner Kelani Jordan was unavailable after being attacked backstage.

This led Fallon Henley to step up and back Hail up in the match, but unfortunately it would all be for naught as Hail and Henley lost the match due to interference from Jayne and Nyx – a moment that finally tipped Hail over the edge.

In a post-match promo Hail declared the “old Thea Hail” was back, news that was greeted by jubilation from not only the live audience, but also Hail’s professor in Chase U: Andre Chase, who took to Twitter to comment on the “old” Hail’s return.

Chase said:

Welcome back @theahail_wwe

Hail then commented on the change herself, Tweeting:

THEA HAIL IS BACK BITCH
