A WWE star has welcomed back Andrade following his Royal Rumble return, teasing a rematch of their previous classic match.
Former NXT Champion Andrade made his return to WWE at the 2024 Royal Rumble event last night, entering the match at number 4.
Andrade left AEW on January 1, with his last match taking place back at AEW Worlds End on December 30.
Following his return, former NXT rival Johnny Gargano took to Twitter, where he welcomed back Andrade on the anniversary of their classic match at NXT Takeover Philadelphia.
He said:
Happy Anniversary.. and Welcome Back, @AndradeElIdolo..
Andrade has yet to be assigned a brand following his return to the company, with many believing he will land on SmackDown.
Andrade has yet to be added to the official WWE roster on WWE.com following his return, though Naomi, who also returned to the company during the Women’s Royal Rumble, has been.

Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa of DIY are set to challenge the Judgment Day for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship on tomorrow night’s Raw show.
