WWE Star Comments On Reaction To The Rock’s Return

WWE SmackDown star Grayson Waller has commented on the fans’ reaction to The Rock’s return to the company.

On the February 2 edition of SmackDown, The Rock returned and confronted Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns after Cody Rhodes said he would not be facing Reigns at WrestleMania 40.

This led to many fans voicing their frustrations and “We Want Cody” trended on Twitter over the weekend following.

At the WrestleMania 40 Kickoff press conference, The Rock seemingly sided with Reigns and slapped Rhodes in the face.

Speaking with Kenny McIntosh of Inside The Ropes ahead of the presser, Grayson Waller noted that the fans’ reaction to The Rock has boggled his mind. He said:

“I have never in my life seen so many people who can barely read and write caring about a story. It absolutely boggles my mind.”

“A few months ago everyone was [saying] Oh Rock come back! How long have they wanted The Rock vs. Roman Reigns?”

“People have been begging for it for years, then they get it and now they’re complaining about it.”

“It just shows in a way how stupid these fans are. They want this, but [then they say] we don’t want it now, we want it here. It’s like just shut up,”
