Following their suspension from the AEW All Out media scrum, rumours emerged about the Young Bucks reportedly sending out ‘feelers’ to WWE.
The reports claimed that the Bucks reached out to a talent in WWE about potential interest in coming in when their AEW deals expire in 2024. This comes after rumours that the Bucks and Omega had threatened to quit AEW after CM Punk’s comments at the AEW All Out media scrum.
In an update on Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer noted that the talent in WWE that the Bucks spoke to noted that there was no mention of the Bucks speaking to management in WWE.
He said:
“The person who they talked to – and they did talk to somebody, and probably have talked to this person many times – but the person in question has also said that there was no mention of them asking to talk to management, or anything of the sort. That was not even in the discussion.”

The Bucks, as well as Kenny Omega, CM Punk and Ace Steel, were all suspended following the fight, with the AEW World and AEW Trios Championships being vacated in the process.
Pat Buck, Michael Nakazawa, Christopher Daniels and Brandon Cutler, who were all also suspended by AEW following the fight, have now had their suspensions lifted by the company.
