A WWE star has taken credit for the 40th edition being the ‘Biggest WrestleMania of All Time’ by telling fans simply – You’re Welcome.
Although it might not be the person you would first think!
No it wasn’t the Rock, again using his best Moana catchphrase related to a WWE event, rather this time it was former WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Drew McIntyre.
While McIntyre bested Seth Rollins to capture the title in the opening bout of night two, his party was shortly thereafter crashed by a successful Money in the Bank cash-in from Damian Priest.
Now Drew McIntyre has reacted to the reports that WWE WrestleMania 40 was the ‘biggest of all time’ by taking credit.
Taking to Twitter, Drew shared Triple H’s post about the metrics noting that WrestleMania 40 was the ‘biggest’ of all time across indicators along with a simple message.
Drew tweeted:
“You’re welcome 👋”
Of course it was accompanied by a snap of him taking a moment for social media during his WWE title match, where he sent out ‘Bored at work. LOL!’ mid-match after grabbing a phone from his wife.
Professional wrestling fans continue to await the on-going drama between Drew McIntyre and CM Punk now that McIntyre seems to have more topical ammo.
On last night’s episode of AEW Dynamite, the footage of the backstage altercation between CM Punk and Jack Perry at AEW All In in London.
