It seems we won’t be getting an emotionally packed origin story about being disappointed in CM Punk from one WWE star.
Taking to Twitter on the first day of 2024, Indi Hartwell has officially accepted the apology of CM Punk.
Posting a duo of photos of herself with CM Punk, both one from quite some time ago it seems and another presumably current snap, Indi also had an interesting message.
She wrote:
“Apology accepted.”
While no specific reason for an apology was noted, in his return promo from CM Punk did mention knowing that he disappointed many fans when he left WWE.
Intriguingly, he specifically mentioned having met a fan backstage named ‘Indi’ who had felt a little betrayed by his exit.
CM Punk continues to seem to be at baseline, a pretty cool guy backstage in WWE, having recently posed for photos with some of Indi’s former NXT locker room pals.
Posting with Cora Jade, Roxanne Perez and Nikkita Lyons, CM Punk has also been recently spotted with a former AEW pal.
Well, sort of.
A rare out of makeup sighting as AEW star Danhausen posed for a bare faced photo with Pepsi Phil to ring in the new year.
