WWE star and former NXT North American Champion Wes Lee has stepped back in the ring for the first time since a back injury.
Ahead of NXT Deadline, former NXT North American Champion Wes Lee announced that he had to drop out of his scheduled match with Dominik Mysterio due to a serious back injury.
Fans have not seen Lee on WWE programming since December 2023 with not too many updates on his condition.
On March 13, Wes Lee took to social media to post a video of himself stepping back in the squared circle for the first time since his injury. The caption reads:
…from the ashes…
Wes Lee last wrestled in a win over Bronson Reed, Johnny Gargano and Cameron Grimes on the November 28, 2023 episode of WWE NXT.
It remains to be seen when Lee will return to in-ring action at the time of this writing.
