
Last night at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium in the Spanish capital of Madrid, Liverpool FC defeated English rivals Tottenham Hotspur to capture the UEFA Champions League trophy, the sixth in the club’s history.

A few WWE stars have taken to social media to congratulate the club on their triumphant victory, with former WWE Champion Sheamus sharing an image of him actually at the game celebrating in a Liverpool FC shirt whilst the players lifted he trophy on the pitch.

NXT UK star and ‘Liverpool’s Number One’ Zack Gibson also took to Twitter to share his elation at his favourite team winning the prestigious competition.
