It appears that former NXT United Kingdom Champion WALTER may be on his way to NXT 2.0 after all.
On tonight’s (December 21) episode of the show, MSK were shown hanging out with their shaman, Raw Tag Team Champion Riddle, who was preparing the duo for a rematch against Imperium for the NXT Tag Team Championship.
After the segment, McKenzie Mitchell interviewed the champions, who said that “MSK may have a Shaman, but we have a General”, which is heavily implying that WALTER, known as the Ring General, will be evening the odds for his Imperium stablemates.
It was reported after WALTER lost the NXT United Kingdom Championship to Ilja Dragunov that WWE was hoping to use WALTER more in the United States moving forward.
This was prior to NXT’s overhaul to NXT 2.0, which led to speculation that WALTER could be headed to WWE’s main roster instead of NXT.
