WWE
The Vision is “a little misunderstood”, according to Maxxine Dupri, who has recently caught the eye of Austin Theory on WWE Raw.
Over the past few weeks, Maxxine Dupri has been seen sharing moments with Austin Theory backstage on WWE Raw, with Otis warning that The Vision member is trouble.
Dupri has a different take on The Vision, revealing that she feels they are “a little misunderstood” in recent comments made to Denise Salcedo, stating:
“I’m a friendly girl. I get along with everyone. I’m friends with all the girls in the locker room. I’m friends with a lot of the guys on the roster.
“I think that The Vision is doing what The Vision needs to do, and maybe they’re a little misunderstood.
“I think that if people took the time to get to know them and get to know Austin that maybe they would feel differently. I just think that I’ve gotten to see that other side.”

Theory has recently seen his tag team partner, Logan Paul, sidelined through injury, being replaced by fellow Vision member Bron Breakker as one half of the WWE World Tag Team Champions.
Having gone on a rampage last week on WWE Raw, this week’s episode would see Theory attempt to interfere when Seth Rollins faced Bron Breakker, only for Montez Ford to intervene.
Maxxine To The Max
All things considered, Maxxine Dupri has had quite the journey in WWE, starting out as the sister of Max Dupri (LA Knight) and serving as a valet for Maximum Male Models back in 2022, before joining Alpha Academy, having failed to recruit Otis to the MMM faction.
Her in-ring debut wouldn’t take place until July 2023, teaming with Otis and Chad Gable in a mixed tag-team match, scoring a victory against The Viking Raiders (Erik, Ivar & Valhalla). When it comes to singles action, she would lose to Valhalla that month.
Continuing to compete throughout the subsequent years, it would be 2025 that would mark the biggest step in Dupri’s in-ring career, seeing her challenge Becky Lynch for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship, with their feud eventually seeing victory for the challenger in November.
The title reign may have ended in January of this year, but Dupri continues to compete on house shows and WWE Main Event, with her last Raw match to date being a loss to Nattie, the star who had mentored her into being a more aggressive competitor.
That harder edge could serve Dupri well should she choose to abandon Otis and Akira Tozawa for The Vision. With past reports noting that there have been discussions to add more members to The Vision, in addition to Dupri, a spotlight could be shone on stars who would benefit from the glow of the Paul Heyman-managed faction.
The Vision lacks a female star in its collection, and Dupri has already demonstrated that she has the edge that Theory showed on last week’s Raw. There’s something to be said by associating Dupri and Theory together in a “satin and steel” themed tandem.
