Former Champion Cuts Emotional Promo Amid WWE Signing Rumors WWE

More spoilers have emerged on plans for Trinity Fatu (fka WWE’s Naomi) in TNA, following reports indicating that she’s set to return to WWE.

It was recently reported that Trinity is expected to be finishing up with TNA Wrestling and become free agent ‘very soon’, with some WWE sources reportedly expecting Trinity to re-join WWE ‘sooner than later’.

After Trinity dropped the TNA Knockouts World Championship to Jordynne Grace at Hard To Kill 2024 and wrestled during the following night’s tapings, the former ‘Naomi’ was advertised for another TNA taping, which took place on Friday (January 19).

During the January 19 TNA IMPACT taping in Orlando, Florida, Trinity teamed with Jordynne Grace to defeat Gisele Shaw and Savannah Evans in tag-team action.

Trinity took to the mic following the match to address the TNA fans in the arena, noting that her time with the company has been ‘life-changing’.

In the promo, which you can watch below, Trinity said:

“Coming to TNA has been life-changing for me, both inside and outside the ring. I feel honored to work with such a strong division and an incredible group of women.

“Wow, what a champion we have here on our hands! (gestures to Jordynne Grace, crowd chants ‘Jordynne’) And when all of y’all think of TNA, I want you to think of me. Trini-TNA! Thank you for coming out, we love you!”

The former WWE star previously unsuccessfully challenged for Jordynne Grace’s Knockouts World Title at the January 14 TV taping.

This match is being advertised for the January 25 edition of IMPACT.
