Identity Of Mysterious WWE Hooded Figure Revealed

Identity Of Mysterious WWE Hooded Figure Revealed WWE

A mysterious hooded figure appeared on the March 19 episode of WWE NXT, allowing Carmelo Hayes to attack Trick Williams.

It all happened after Williams defeated Noam Dar on the recent episode, taking us one step closer to the Williams vs Hayes NXT Stand & Deliver match on April 6, 2024.

Footage of the hooded figure distracting Williams can be seen below this news story, and the mystery man’s identity has now been revealed.

According to Fightful Select, the hooded figure is someone already familiar to NXT fans.

Fightful Select notes that mystery figure wears the same shoes as none other than NXT head referee Adrian Butler.

The shoes in question can be seen in the tweet from Butler’s own Twitter account that can be seen below this news story.

It was also confirmed by Fightful Select’s sources within NXT that Butler was, indeed, the hooded man.

The real-life Darryl Sharma signed a WWE developmental contract in November 2016.

During his time as a wrestler, Sharma competed internationally, including in Japan, Mexico and the United Kingdom.

Before being signed with WWE, he made an appearance as a Rosebud in Adam Rose’s Exotic Express in June 2014.

In May 2021, during the suspension of Drake Wuertz, Sharma would become NXT head referee, continuing in the role after Wuertz was fired by WWE.
