Find out which brand Andrade is joining after returning to WWE as he was shown being courted by both Raw and SmackDown.
Andrade (fka Andrade el Idolo in AEW) made his WWE return at the Royal Rumble however it wasn’t specified which brand he was aligned with.
The reveal came on tonight’s January 29 episode of WWE Raw as both SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis and Raw GM Adam Pearce were backstage in a segment with the ‘top free agent’.
In the segment, Nick Aldis was shown walking in shortly after Andrade signed on the dotted line, pledging allegiance to the WWE Raw brand.
Confirming that not only was he back in WWE, he was now set for appearances on Raw.
He asked Aldis to say ‘Hola!’ to Zelina Vega on SmackDown before departing the scene as Aldis and Pearce continued their competitive dynamic.
Aldis however would also need to exit the scene as his phone was ringing which he noted to Pearce was a call from Bron Breakker.
The NXT star made a strong appearance in the WWE Royal Rumble, making several big eliminations.
Elsewhere on tonight’s WWE Raw, CM Punk appeared and revealed the nature of the injury he sustained at Royal Rumble 2024.
