Here is when WWE’s women’s talent learned of Jordynne Grace’s appearance in the Women’s Royal Rumble match.

One of the biggest surprises at last night’s WWE Royal Rumble event was the appearance of TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace, who was announced as such on the broadcast.

Fightful Select has since reported on the process towards getting Grace in the match, noting that WWE initially reached out to TNA last week, with the deal eventually coming together.

In an update from Fightful Select (subscription required), the women involved in the Royal Rumble were made aware of Grace’s appearance in the match on Thursday, when she was at the rehearsals for the match.

Grace had an impressive showcase in her WWE debut before eventually being eliminated by Bianca Belair.

Grace shared the ring with numerous WWE stars that she had never faced off against before, as well as Naomi, who she faced off with at TNA Hard to Kill just two weeks prior.

The women’s Royal Rumble match was eventually won by Bayley.
