WWE WrestleMania 41 takes place in Las Vegas on April 19 & 20, 2025, marking the first time the event has taken place so late in the month.
Typically, WrestleMania has taken place in late March or early April.
WrestleMania 41 takes place over Easter weekend, in a change to previous thinking in WWE.
According to Dave Meltzer, in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the change of mindset was down to the host city, writing:
In the past, WWE has avoided Easter Sunday. Las Vegas, which is paying a site fee for the show, wanted Easter because it is a traditionally weak weekend for tourism, so a WrestleMania will be a big boost.
It was recently reported that WWE Backlash didn’t see Lyon, France pay a site fee to host the PLE.
Meltzer has stated that, despite Backlash seeing the “largest gate of any arena show in WWE history”, pay-per-view interest was “the lowest in history for a WWE show.”
Saudi Arabia has expressed an interest in being the host of a future WrestleMania or Royal Rumble, with WWE returning to the Kingdom for King & Queen of the Ring on May 25, 2024.
