‘Finalist’ For WWE WrestleMania 41 Location Confirmed WWE

The location for next year’s WrestleMania 41 event has potentially revealed, with a US city revealed to be a finalist in WWE discussions.

With WWE bringing 70,000+ people to a city during WrestleMania week each year, the decision for which stadiums will host WrestleMania events is an important one.

Per the Star Tribune, Minneapolis is a finalist to host next year’s WrestleMania 41 premium live event.

The Minnesota Sports and Events (MNSE) non-profit organisation told Star Tribune on Wednesday (March 13) that it submitted a pitch for WWE to hold WrestleMania at the US Bank Stadium.

MNSE President and CEO Wendy Blackshaw noted that Minneapolis was one of several cities WWE had invited to pitch for the event, with Blackshaw stating:

“We are hopeful, and I hope we get it.”

Minneapolis has never hosted at WrestleMania event.

This year’s WrestleMania 40 shows will take place on April 6 and 7 at the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Numerous top matches have been confirmed for the event, including The Rock’s return to the ring.

The Rock will team with Roman Reigns to face off against Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins, ahead of Rhodes challenging for Reigns’ WWE Undisputed Universal Title, and Rollins defending his World Heavyweight Championship against Drew McIntyre.
