New NXT Stars Revealed
After some reports of Triple H saying the NXT Performance Centre was full, we’ve got a brand new crop of NXT recruits which have been unveiled by WWE.com. Among the line-up is All-American wrestler Denzel Dejournette, Team 3D academy trainee Monique Jenkins, former Basketball player Lacey Lane, seven foot tall boxer Taishan Dong, Yorkshireman and former rugby player Luke Menzies and former gymnast Stacey Ervin Jr. Also in the line-up is Io Shirai – who debuted at an NXT live event in Tokyo last month – and was announced as part of the Mae Young Classic 2 in August.
Also revealed is former All In star Deonna Purrazzo. Cody announced last week that Purrazzo was no longer going to be on the show, hinting that she had decided to sign with WWE instead. Dave Meltzer had reported that WWE might try and poach talent announced for All In – especially after the show sold out its 10,000 seats in under half an hour – but Purrazzo appears to be the only one who made the jump. The Mae Young Classic Twitter account also revealed Purrazzo for the tournament.
Rounding out the new recruits is former WWN and PWG Champion – and my BFF – Keith Lee…
