WWE Evolution will emanate from the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, New York on October 28. When the venue was announced, many questioned why WWE didn’t book their spiritual home of Madison Square Garden.
Given the commotion Vince McMahon kicked up when ROH and New Japan Pro Wrestling were looking into the arena for their G1 Supercard, it would have made sense to mend relationships with the venue of some of WWE’s most famous events.
Now, we have the answer as to why WWE isn’t returning to the ‘World’s Most Famous Arena’. A Twitter used asked Dave Meltzer this exact question:
Maybe they couldn't get the date they wanted. MSG is heavily booked. https://t.co/qHNQQE7TNA

Thus far, Trish Stratus vs. Alexa Bliss and Toni Storm vs. Io Shirai in the second annual Mae Young Classic Final have been announced for the show. Ronda Rousey vs. Nikki Bella for the Raw Women’s Championship is heavily rumored. Lita, Beth Phoenix, Michelle McCool and a plethora of other legends have been confirmed to appear and compete.
