Two days after a controversial Raw, which not only earned the show’s worst ever ratings, but also featured the unfortunate incident when Liv Morgan was knocked out by a botched Brie Bella kick, Total Divas has also had a horror show in the ratings.
A show WWE superstar Sheamus labelled “s**te” last week has managed to squeeze eight seasons out of the format, and the season 8 premiere last week drew the lowest ever audience for a season premiere.
This week, their viewing figures dropped by a further 64,000 viewers to just 390,000. Having said that, at least Sheamus has completely turned a corner on the show…

The show, which was described as a real “tearjerker” in social media promotions, was not even in the top 50 cable TV shows for September 26. All in all, a bad week for WWE’s women.
There are plenty of reasons why this may be the case, particularly as they chose to air the Mae Young Classic at the same time. If you feel that Total Divas fans and US Politics fans are one and the same, then you might feel that the busy political week is to blame.
Or maybe, everyone hates the Bellas after the unfortunate incidents on Raw.
