Hello and welcome once again to my top WWE matches of the week. Here, as always, I check out all the bouts from the past seven days of WWE TV and cherry pick the very best for you.
A quick reminder that this only focuses on Raw, SmackDown Live, 205 Live, NXT, NXT UK, and, for the last time until next year, the Mae Young Classic. After all, we all know that Main Event does not exist.
Now, without further ado, let’s get cracking!

5. NXT UK – Tyler Bate vs. Wolfgang
It’s quite wonderful that the newly formed NXT UK has gotten off to a pretty outstanding start. Sure last week’s episode wasn’t amazing bar an incredible main event but this was a real step up. New stars were introduced, Zack Gibson proved he gets more nuclear heat than Tommaso Ciampa, and the show was again capped off by a brilliant main event.
Tyler Bate is truly beloved and is over wherever he goes. That doesn’t stop him simply being one of the best in the world and proving it in case just one person hasn’t clocked on yet. Wolfgang played his part well as the big man thinking no one can touch him which made for a brilliant test of strength spot.
As NXT UK is more or less lying in wait at the moment, if this is a sign of things to come on a bigger scale with some proper narrative, this show will be immense.
