If you think of someone within WWE that is associated with both WrestleMania and their Saudi Arabia shows, you’re going to be thinking of the Undertaker.
However, it seems that this year at least, we’ll be without his big dong and clumsy matches with other legends.
We reported earlier this week that the Undertaker had removed all references to WWE from his social media accounts and is now taking non-WWE bookings. One source who apparently tried to book ‘Taker said he’s currently charging $25,000 for appearances.
Writing in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer noted that there are currently no plans to have ‘Taker at either WrestleMania or the May Saudi Arabia show.
“He is also not scheduled to work a top match at Wrestlemania at this point….as of today he’s also not working the next Saudi Arabia show, and if he was going to wrestle, the Saudi show would be the most likely show.”
At 53 years of age and largely made of metal and bruised bones, it’s hardly surprising that he’s not keen on getting back in the ring any time soon.
His matches over the past couple of years have been poor at best, and although if any show was going to bring him back it would be one in Saudi Arabia due to the monetary bonus, we may have seen the last of the Dead Man in WWE for a while.
