Motor City Machine Guns Potential New Home Teased Following TNA Departure TNA

Current IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Champions Bullet Club War Dogs have teased The Motor City Machine Guns’ potential new home.

At the beginning of April 2024, Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley of The Motor City Machine Guns became free agents upon the expiration of their contracts with TNA Wrestling.

As previously reported, All Elite Wrestling are reportedly the most likely new home for the former TNA World Tag Team Champions.

However, it seems like current champions in another promotion have hinted at the potential return of Sabin and Shelley.

Following their win at NJPW Wrestling Satsuma no Kuni 2024 (via NJPW YouTube channel), IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Champions Clark Connors and Drilla Moloney made comments regarding The Motor City Machine Guns. Moloney said:

“It’s too easy. Have we gotta go back into the past or something, dig up them Machine Guns or get Liger to put his Halloween mask back on.”

The Bullet Club War Dogs defeated Los Ingobernables de Japon’s Hiromu Takahashi and BUSHI to retain the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Titles at NJPW Wrestling Satsuma no Kuni.
