Two major free agents are reportedly now off the market, and are finalizing a deal to join All Elite Wrestling.
The Motor City Machine Guns duo of Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin became free agents earlier this month, when it was announced that their contracts with TNA had expired at the end of March.
The duo last competed on the March 23 TNA television tapings in Philadelphia before their departure from the company.
There had previously been hopes within TNA that the Machine Guns would re-sign with the company, but it was reported that the belief was that the pair would land in AEW.
In an update from Bodyslam.net, it appears as though it will be the case, and that the Machine Guns are headed to AEW.
Sources within AEW noted to Bodyslam that Sabin and Shelley are working on finalizing a deal with the company, with it being noted that the deal isn’t going to be finalized ‘for a bit’, but the decision has been made, and a deal will be reached between the two sides.
