Who’d have thought a year ago we’d all be gushing for the return of Roman Reigns? With deaths and severe illness, we tend to throw any hatred or criticism out the window and rightfully so in many cases. There are more important things going on in that moment than our petty feelings over who should be pushed. So, while some of us may have hated on Roman, we’ve all been praying and/or hoping for the health and safety of Joseph Anoa’i.
And those prayers were answered this week when the ‘Big Dog’ announced he had speared cancer through a table and his illness was in remission. Now that Roman is done beating cancer like Russell Crowe on South Park, the question becomes, what kind of schedule will the WWE want him to work?
As of now, Roman has been added to every RAW taping up until the London show on May 13. He’ll likely be at the London show as well though. He’s not scheduled to work any house shows until their post-Wrestlemania, European tour, and they aren’t flying him across the pond for a few house shows.
So, it would appear Roman is back to a fairly full schedule, but we’ll have to wait and see if they let him ease back into the ring or if he’ll hit the ground Superman punching. His return will make the booking of Wrestlemania from here on out interesting, to say the least.
