Ronda Rousey isn’t booked for any WWE shows after WrestleMania, PWInsider reports.
There have been rumours for some time that Ronda may be planning on taking some time out, possibly in order to start a family, but these are all unconfirmed.
Furthermore, Vince McMahon noted earlier this year that someone like Ronda would “come and go” from WWE but that so long as they are made aware of when they will be available and when they won’t, the promotion can work around it.
In fact, when asked about the rumours earlier this year in an interview with ESPNW, she said:
“I honestly don’t know why [anyone] feels like [they’re] an authority to speak on the plans for my uterus. If I responded every single time the world speculated what I was doing with my womb I would not have a free moment in the day.”
“I really don’t feel like I should have to respond to that kind of thing. It’s my vagina, my life, keep the speculations to yourself. Leave me and my reproductive organs alone.”
Ronda Rousey is one of the biggest mainstream draws on WWE TV, so the company will be very keen on keeping hold of her, but ultimately it will of course be her choice.
