More news on Arn Anderson’s WWE firing has come to light via a report from Wrestling Inc.
The site alleges that Alicia Fox showed up to a WWE house show intoxicated and in no condition to perform but Anderson – who was her agent/producer that night – allowed her to wrestle anyway.
Wrestling Inc. say Vince McMahon was absolutely livid when he learned about this. Apparently that resulted in a shouting match between the two and Anderson getting sent home and then fired.
This story is backed up by Fox not having wrestled for WWE in almost a month, with her last appearance coming on February 10 at a live event in Michigan. Although unconfirmed, it is believed that this is when the incident took place. Furthermore, Fox was apparently not backstage at Raw last week, which could be another indicator that the story is true.
If this report is accurate – and we should stress that WWE and Alicia have not commented as of this writing – it would not be the first time that Fox has got herself in hot water for an incident involving alcohol.
Prior to WrestleMania 34, Fox was reportedly told to stay away from the supercard due to an incident with Ronda Rousey and her husband Travis Browne at a post-Hall Of Fame party, the video of which ended up leaking online:
Fox has been in the WWE system since 2006 and on television since 2008, making her one of the longest-serving members of the roster, remarkably enough.
