As reported in an article today on WrestleTalk, Dave Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio that former Raw and Smackdown Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss was once again injured. Whilst the extent of the injury was unknown, Meltzer said that WWE fans should not expect Bliss to compete in the ring anytime soon.
Bliss had only just returned from injury. She announced on the Raw before the Royal Rumble in a ‘Moment of Bliss’ segment that she would be returning and competing in the Women’s Rumble match. Bliss had been sidelined since the summer after suffering multiple concussions. She was supposed to tag with Mickie James against Lita and Trish Stratus at WWE Evolution on October 28th 2018, but was replaced by Alicia Fox.
However, when a fan tweeted that Alexa Bliss was injured and would be missed, the Goddess quickly replied to deny that she was hurt.
Haha I’m not . Thanks tho 🙂 ✌🏻🖤 https://t.co/oQ0eTKUGwT

This is not the first time that a WWE superstar has rebuffed rumours that they are injured. Back in early February, it was reported that AJ Styles was suffering from a hernia. After Styles wrestle on an episode of Smackdown, a fan asked how he was able to do so. Styles replied by saying he didn’t actually have a hernia and the rumours were untrue.
Yeah, about that. I don’t have a hernia. 😐 https://t.co/ilqge7BlZw

Obviously, it is good news that Alexa Bliss is not injured once again, but it does beg the question as to why she is just presenting ‘Moment of Bliss’ segments rather than actually wrestling? It remains to be seen if Bliss will compete at WrestleMania, but with there only being four episodes of Raw between now and the show of shows, we should find out Bliss’ Mania plans sooner rather than later.
