The Revival retained their Raw Tag Team Championships with a count out victory over Ricochet and Aleister Black on last night’s episode of Raw.
Despite having a slightly more prominent role on the show, there is still no confirmed Raw Tag Title match on the WrestleMania card.
According to Post Wrestling, both the Raw and SmackDown Live tag titles will be defended on the show, and a WWE backstage exclusive may have revealed who the Revival will be defending against on Sunday.
Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder, a team with precisely zero wins since they reformed earlier this year, confronted the tag champions and issued them a challenge for WrestleMania.
Hawkins has a personal losing streak which currently sits at 269 matches, but where better to end that streak than to win a championship at WrestleMania?
Hawkins and Ryder are former tag champions, having won the World Tag Team Championships at the Great American Bash in 2008. Whether they’ll repeat their success is another question, but thi match has had zero build so it’s probably the one that will happen.
