It was announced last night on Raw that along with obviously the Men’s and Women’s ladder matches, Becky Lynch would be defending her Raw Women’s Championship against Lacey Evans, and AJ Styles would be looking to wrestle the Universal Championship away from Seth Rollins at the Money In The Bank pay-per-view.
It has now been confirmed on Smackdown that two Smackdown newcomers in Roman Reigns and Elias will be squaring off on May, 19 at the pay-per-view event. Elias challenged Reigns in a backstage segment after he and Shane McMahon attacked “The Big Dog” in the opening segment of the show. Reigns would accept the challenge later on.
That is not all, following a stare-off between Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch, the former was challenged to a match by Bayley, with the winner going on to face Becky Lynch at Money In The Bank for the Smackdown Women’s Championship.
Charlotte Flair walked out the victor after hitting Bayley with a Spear, and it has now been confirmed that Flair and Lynch will be squaring off YET AGAIN on pay-per-view. This confirms the reports made yesterday that Becky would be pulling double duty on May, 19.
