Yesterday WWE announced that at their upcoming event in Saudi Arabia entitled “Super Show Down”, Goldberg would be taking on The Undertaker for the first time ever. They also announced Triple H vs. Randy Orton and a massive 50-man battle royale for the show on June, 7.

The Undertaker vs. Goldberg would have been a great match in 1999, but certainly not 2019… Both guys are clearly past their prime, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see a similarly sloppy match to the one that took place the last time WWE went to Saudi Arabia in November 2018, where “The Deadman” and Kane teamed to take on Triple H and Shawn Michaels.
It seems that wrestling fans aren’t the only people who questioned this match choice. Very soon after WWE’s announcement, Tyler Breeze shared an ambiguous tweet, perhaps criticising WWE for having such an outdated match at their upcoming show. Breeze, who recently made the move back to NXT from Raw, shared the following cryptic post on social media.
Its… 2019…. 🤦♂️
— Breeze (@MmmGorgeous) May 13, 2019
Whilst Breeze did not outright say that this tweet was a response to the announcement of Taker vs. Goldberg, it certainly seems likely, especially as Breeze has never been one to bite his tongue when it comes to speaking out about his current employers.
