Last week at the Wrestle Gate show in Nottingham, England, PAC wrestled Hangman Page in an impromptu bout that was supposed to happen one week later at All Elite Wrestling’s first official show, Double or Nothing. PAC lost the match via DQ, and brutally assaulted Page afterwards.
He later quit AEW and said he would not be at Double or Nothing, leading the promotion announcing that their planned match was off, with Page set to face a new opponent at the big show.
It was revealed yesterday that Page is actually injured, and as such will not be wrestling at the show in Las Vegas. However, that has not stopped another former WWE Cruiserweight Champion campaigning on Twitter to be the man that faces Hangman Page.

TJ Perkins won the Cruiserweight Classic in 2016 beating Gran Metalik in the final. After winning the tournament, he became the inaugural WWE Cruiserweight Champion, holding the belt for 46 days before dropping it to Brian Kendrick. However, he left WWE at the beginning of 2019, and is now accepting independent bookings.
At this stage, it is uncertain if TJ Perkins will appear at Double or Nothing, or what Adam Page’s role at the big show will be. You can watch AEW Double or Nothing live on www.itvboxoffice.com in the UK and follow them on @ITVWrestling on Twitter for all updates.
