It was reported two days ago that IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Will Ospreay had been forced out of a match at the G1 Climax due to a neck injury, and it was feared he was not be able to compete for some time.
Ospreay himself admitted to being in considerable pain on Twitter, but promised to update fans ASAP about his ability to compete.
“Sorry I couldn’t make it out there guys. I’m in a huge amount of pain right now but New Japan is giving me all the best treatment and taking great care of my health. I’ll do my best to continue the G1,” wrote Ospreay on Twitter.
Thankfully, he has delivered the update and it’s good news for everyone, as the high-flyer has been given the green light by doctors to appear tomorrow in his A Block match with Kota Ibushi.
Death can kiss me all it wants, it never nails me.

The last time Ospreay went one on one with Ibushi, the latter was knocked out and concussed. Hopefully everyone stays safe tomorrow.
