It was reported by PWInsider last week that the long-awaited changes to the format of the WWE Network were coming “sooner rather than later”.
It is believed that a tier system will be introduced in the near future, with fans being able to pay a select amount based on how much content they want.
Talk has been doing the rounds for around two years about the Network changing its pricing plan to a tiered structure in an attempt to generate more revenue from the existing WWE fan base.
That would make sense, as WWE’s recent television and Network have shown that the promotion is struggling to create new fans at the moment.
The EVOLVE show streamed on the Network was the first non-WWE live event broadcast by the site, and it looks like we’re in for more non-WWE content.
A fan on the Wrestling Observer fan board pointed out that ICW content is now listed on the WWE Network.

A search for “Fight Club” (ICW’s “TV” show) brings up a few more results (presumably a single episode):
Gives an idea of how the tiered pricing structure will look – all the content will be viewable by all, but will but will be locked-out to those without the appropriate access. pic.twitter.com/k1gJYIt6UV

While the content is currently unplayable, it would suggest that WWE is beginning to stockpile content from other promotions for when the new tiered system is launched.
