Oh, to be a fly on the wall in Vince McMahon’s office at the moment.
All Elite Wrestling has done it again, shocking the worlds of both wrestling and ticketing by selling out all 14,000 tickets for its TNT debut show on October 2.
Although initial demand for upcoming pay-per-view All Out appears to have been higher, the event at the Capital One Center in Washington, DC takes place on a Wednesday night, making the achievement perhaps even more impressive.
Furthermore, issues with Ticketmaster – which was not prepared for such a rush of demand as soon as tickets went on sale – caused many prospective ticket buyers in the first two hours to receive error messages telling them the seats had been taken.
When issues were resolved the final few thousand tickets available went within minutes. Cody Rhodes confirmed the news on Twitter:
SOLD OUT❗️
Thank you all so very much.
(Do not give up hope on being there live though, we should be lifting potential camera/production holds as we get closer to the event. Keep checking at https://t.co/tzvxkxvV0O ) pic.twitter.com/lScHFwc4cd

This level of demand for a wrestling show is almost unprecedented in the building, with no WWE event at the Capital One Center ever having this high of a ticket demand or really anything even close.
Congratulations to AEW, which continues to defy all logic at the gate and prove its critics wrong
