On October 2nd, AEW will debut their new TV show on TNT. The show will see an AEW Women’s Championship match between Riho and 21-woman Casino Battle Royale winner Nyla Rose.
Also on the show will be a six-man tag team match, with Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks teaming up to take on AEW World Champion Chris Jericho, and two mystery partners.
Many people speculated before All Out that former Impact Tag Team Champions LAX would make their debuts on the October 2nd show, unveiling themselves as Jericho’s tag team partners.
However, the pair debuted at All Out, attacking both The Lucha Brothers and the aforementioned Young Bucks. Many said that this might indicate that AEW has two other partners planned for Jericho on the show.
However, Chris Jericho revealed on his Talk is Jericho podcast that he filmed some backstage material at AEW All Out with both Santana and Ortiz.
While this is far from official confirmation that the team formerly known as LAX will be Jericho’s tag partners next month, one has to assume that the fact they filmed backstage segments together is a good indication of their future alliance.
