PWInsider has confirmed that Sasha Banks suffered a tailbone injury during her Hell in a Cell Raw Women’s Championship match against Becky Lynch on Sunday.
Banks has been removed from active competition as a result.
It was believed Banks had suffered a back injury, but prior to now, no further details were known.
There is no word yet on recovery time or the precise nature of the injury.
The Blueprint – as she’s now being referred to – was unsuccessful in her challenge against Lynch at Hell in a Cell, but the match was widely regarded as the best on the entire show.
Despite being injured, unlike other injured members of the roster, Sasha is listed in the WWE Draft pool for tonight’s stanza on Friday Night SmackDown.
