Earlier today, it was announced that 205 Live was cancelled for tonight. A couple of 205 Live superstars have weighed in on the cancellation.
Each took different approaches to their comments. Tony Nese seemed to make light of the situation:
Sorry #WWE Universe, due to the birth of my child I was unable to attend #20Live and the officials thought it was best to just cancel the show. As they say in Stamford:
"when there is no Nese, there is no need to bother". https://t.co/vzcWtxXfkp

Congratulations on the birth of his child. Meanwhile, the Cruiserweight Champion had a bit of a different opinion on the matter.

It’s worth noting this weekend is a major pay-per-view weekend. Tonight will be the first of a 4 day run of shows for WWE.
It’s possible WWE was trying to give the crew a break before the grueling weekend knowing not a lot of people would be tuning into the show or sticking around for the live audience.
Lio Rush has been appearing on NXT with his title for some great matches. However, not everyone from 205 is so lucky. Not having a show tonight definitely impacts their ability to showcase their skills.

It’s hard to argue with his views. However, given the recent statements by the NXT Boss, it might be best to keep these thoughts to himself or at least off of social media.
The 205 Live division is really getting the short end of the stick this weekend. Typically, the would at least get a pre-show championship match at the pay-per-view, but this weekend nothing…Not even a 205 Live.
