That’s a bit harsh, but don’t worry John, I’ll marry you.
Many of you will remember the scenes at WrestleMania 33 when John Cena proposed to Nikki Bella after the pair defeated The Miz and Maryse in a mixed tag match. Ah yes, the proposal every girl dreams of.
Unfortunately it wasn’t to last and the pair split before their wedding could take place. If you want to know more, the couple actually had to act out their break up on Total Bellas, which must have been excruciating.
Speaking to a Radar Online, a family member said that Nikki was “blessed” to have been able to call off the wedding.
“It was good it ended before a wedding. She’s just blessed that it happened this way. When she does decide to marry, it’ll be a first, true wedding.”
Bella is now dating professional dancer Artem Chigvintsev, who she met while taking part in Dancing with the Stars, and recently told fans that sex with Artem is the best she’s ever had. Clearly he’s no stranger to a five knuckle shuffle.
Speaking in August, Bella revealed one of the main issues in her relationship with Cena.
“One person had to sacrifice their career [for us to be together], but I’m not willing to do that. I’m just not the girl who hangs out on set. I have my own career. I want to be one of Forbes’ top entrepreneurs.”
Not to be outdone by Bella’s new boyfriend’s surname, Cena is now dating project manager Shay Shariatzadeh.
I imagine if Artem and Shay joined WWE they’d have their names shortened quicker than you could say Alexander Rusev.
