It has been confirmed that CM Punk will be returning to WWE Backstage on FS1 next Tuesday night.
Seth Rollins was last night’s guess, and he of course commented on the recent words he’s exchanged with Punk, even addressing him live on Raw last week, reportedly to the behest of Vince McMahon.
On the topic of Punk last night, Rollins said:
“I’m here, he’s not here and I’m not shocked about that. I think I’ve exhausted all of my energy on the subject. I just don’t think it’s going anywhere, I’m not shocked that he’s not here, so I think it’s time to maybe move on to something that matters. I wish he was here. I wish we could have a face-to-face, but it’s not in the cards.”
Another big piece of news from last night’s Backstage was the confirmation of John Morrison re-signing with WWE.
Punk responded to Morrison saying he can’t wait to face off with the most talented in the business, by pointing out that Will Ospreay is in New Japan.
