This week on WWE Backstage, Ryan Satin confirmed as part of The Satin Sheet that John Morrison has agreed to return to WWE.
The former Intercontinental Champion left WWE in 2011 before moving on to Impact Wrestling and Lucha Underground where he was positioned at the top of the card.
Nothing has been reported regarding when Morrison is expected to make his in-ring return for the company, and what brand the talented performer will end up on.
However, it has now been revealed that Morrison will be making his return to WWE programming next week.
It was confirmed today that John Morrison will be appearing live in the studio for next week’s The Bump show.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!@TheRealMorrison.
Next week.

The show will air next Thursday, so it is likely that Morrison could appear on SmackDown tomorrow night or Raw/NXT next week.
I believe WWE wasted what could have been a huge pop by announcing Morrison’s return on WWE Backstage. Let’s just hope they don’t waste his first appearance on WWE programming in years on a show hardly anyone watches.
