Ever since Survivor Series, NXT fans have bee hoping that WWE higher-ups give Keith Lee a monster push to the top of the NXT card.
It seems like their prayers might have been answered, as on last night’s show, Keith Lee defeated Dominik Dijakovic, Cameron Grimes and Damian Priest in what was an immensely fun four-way match.
As a result, Keith has earned a shot at NXT North American Champion Roderick Strong, the match will take place in just two weeks on the 01/22 episode.
Keith and Roddy will likely put on a very good match, and I really wouldn’t be surprised to see Keith pick up the win and walk away with the North American title.
WWE is really stacking the new two week’s worth of NXT shows. Next week, we will see the NXT debut of Alex Shelley as he teamed with former NJPW partner KUSHIDA in the first round of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Classic.
