Former X-Division Champion, Rich Swann underwent ankle surgery today [January 23, 2020] to repair an injured ankle he suffered during a multi-person tag match at Bash at the Brewery.
Swann was slated to challenge The North for the IMPACT Tag Team Championship with his partner Willie Mack at Hard To Kill. Unfortunately, Swann was unable to compete.
Instead of finding a tag team partner, Mack faced Ethan Page and Josh Alexander in a 2 on 1 Handicap Match. Mack was unable to overcome the odds.
However, the match was one of the better handicap matches you’ll see.
Su Yung, the lady partner of Rich Swann, took to Twitter today asking for fans to leave get well messages for Swann.
If anyone wants to leave a message for my husband Rich Swann, please do as he goes into surgery. Prayers are welcome. pic.twitter.com/pUKrEd8lzh

Swann had a tremendous year for IMPACT in 2019 and was looking to a big year in 2020. Here’s to hoping Rich fully recovers quickly.
We here at WrestleTalk wish Rich nothing but the best and a speedy recovery.
